Mixers
Briggs Drums can be used with a variety of pneumatically and electrically driven mixers. Over time Briggs has solved many specialist problems. Opposite is a specialist fixed-castored drum fitted with a pneumatic propeller mixer. This application was found in the pharmaceutical industry for the handling of a tablet coating which without continuous agitation quickly "settled out" between the main mixer and the tablet coater.
If required, trace heating or insulation media can be used to prevent heat loss in intermediate applications.
