Keg Turners
Briggs Keg Turners can cope with a wide variety of sizes and styles at duty rates up to 700 kegs per hour. Interchangeable quick-change arms allow size changes to be conducted quickly, safely and easily. The modern generation of robotic turners can be supplied as single units or selective double-unit turners.
The obvious application of the Keg Turner is to ensure the correct orientation of the valve pre and post presentation to the filler. Other applications include rotation of the keg in the pre-wash cycle allowing caustic contact with the whole keg whilst minimizing the volume of caustic used. Rotation provides useful agitation improving the efficiency of the pre-wash cycle.
