Milling
The selection of a mill appropriate to the mash separation methodology is fundamental. Mash filtration will require the finer flours generated by hammer milling.
Lauter Tuns are best married to today's range of 4 or 6 roll mills.
Briggs has extensive experience installing both Lauter Tuns and Mash Filters in projects around the globe. A significant proportion of the Meura 2000 Mash Filter installed base has been commissioned by Briggs, using both Buhler and Asnong Hammer Mills.
