Briggs takes a balanced view of the relative benefits of Lauter Tuns and modern generation of Mash Filters. Approximately 75% of the world's current brewing capacity relies on Lauter Tuns. It remains a highly relevant and effective technology, and one where many advances have been made in recent years. Particularly important are the developments in automation and control, which have brought about significant improvements in Lauter Tun efficiencies.
The best of the current generation of modern Mash Filters must be the Meura 2000, and Briggs has substantial experience with this system in Brewhouses around the World.
